That is the classic of early dive classes. It should be next to Roberts' Basic Scuba on your book shelf.

I've read Basic Scuba and when I get through with U Boats, that I'm reading now, I will read The New Science.

New science is a great one. Another one to read is "Skin Diver" I have two hard covers. If you'd like to borrow one or trade shoot me a pm.
