The "fleadawgs" have listed SIGNED copy of Treasure Diving Holidays on E bay. So far one bid at $9.95. It is worth so much more--how much? I din't know!, but I have only seen two copies signed, mine and one that sold some time ago..So might want to pick this one up.

title;
Book. spearfishing, tresure, gun, diving, speargun, helmet, ( Wow!)
number 250049510773

One day remaining --jum on it!

I am not certain where best to list this item--since it was bibliophile related I unilaterally chose this thread

treasure diving holidays 1954- signed by authors

Sun Nov 19, 2006 1:29 pm

21, i have seen a number of copies signed by the authors for sale. i picked up a signed copy off the the bay which simply says " Happy holidays" Jane and barney Crile.
i check on books for sale on abe books and albris and saw at one point a number of signed copies of this book for sale.
maybe your signed copy has a different inscription. all in all, i think it is a good historical book.

Crile book - signed--sources

Sun Nov 19, 2006 4:32 pm

I checked all my sources and discovered two signed copies:
1) $25.00 + 3.00 S&H --$28.00
2) $18.45 + 3.50 S&H --$21.95

They are the exception when signed as most books are.

So around 20+ dollars is the bench mark at this time.

It is condition, condition Plus condition in collecting...

A big bonus in books is the autographs of the author and or asociated people, depending on a number of items can increase the value many times over.
