I am sure these books by Owen Lee are not very rare. I know I enjoyed them when I first became intrigued with diving back in the late 1950's. Does anyone know of Owen Lee's claims to fame with diving, etc? He was somehow associated with Cousteau.

Met him one time at a social function. Certainly don't know him.

He was some how associated with Woods hole.

He was the first American on Cousteau's team in the 50s? or 60s?

He was a member of the Treasure divers of Vigo Bay ( book: Treasure Divers of Vigo Bay, John S Potter, 1958, Double Day LCC #58-13292) He or they produced a movie of this salvage effort which didn't sell-- too early in the market place = no interest in the 1950s.

The book Treasure Diver of Vigo bay a very good adventure story reading. Some pictures of the equipment.

The other two books are great reference books, lots of pictures and currently reasonably priced on the E bay market.
