What is the best material to use in making HP seats ?

my first question is "for what"?

I have played around with seats for piston regs and have found nylon to be the best thing I could get.
Teflon is too soft and delrin is too hard.

I have never seen one of those. If you have it apart, shoot some photos of the HP seat, never know what someone might come up with.

I found the manual. If you are talking about part "8" valve seating, it says several times in the service section of the manual it is nylon.

Yes it is part No 8 on the drawing and as you say it states "Nylon" in the Manual

Have tried to post image but unsuccessful
