Tried my 109 today after installing the duro kit. Very happy. Cracking effort (?) was light enough it would bubble a bit when face down until I turned the knob in a bit. Super easy breathing. If I ever go back to single hosing, most likely, it will be my $25 in parts corroded 109. I am curious, when face up, it breathed hard unless I turned the knob back out. I understand the diaphragm concept from Regulator Savvy, but are all easy breathing second stages that much affected by up or down breathing? I never noticed that on my crappy regs.

Spelling error. It originally said I will MOST LIKELY use the 109. I will edit that. The page I was thinking of was the one explaining the center on the second stage diaphragm and the water pushing in on the bottom edge while air is pushing on the top edge.
